My First Morse Code Keyer
I saw a review on qrper.com by K4SWL Tom Witherspoon for this paddle kit. I had just bought a KX2 and was just learning CW and wanted to start practicing sending. It seemed like a great option to get my first iambic paddle for less, plus build a kit and have the ability to practice sending. I have to say it was pretty easy to build. Took about half hour or so mainly because I kept reading the instructions over & over to not mess up. I have a very basic soldering iron and it worked fine. I didn’t have a 5.5mm socket but 6mm worked fine. It does take a little bit of fiddling with nuts and screw adjustments. Cool little kit!!
